How to get going - some extra instructions
- Make an Agent registration -- here>>
- Start creating your advert on this site as follows
- Log in and click on ADMIN - click here. It will open in a new page so that you can keep referring back here.
- Now click 'ADD LISTING'
- Title - make this your cottage name. Do not alter this once you have created the advert or this may spoil your search engine position. Make it two or three words long.
Please do not use any punctation in the Title eg hyphens, commas and full stops.
- Property description - It is absolutely vital to keep all descriptions in unique wording, to stop your listing being ignored by search engines like "Duplicate Content" - You can make the design and layout on Microsoft Word, then paste it in.
- Special offers - there is a checkbox to show if you have a special or last minute discount etc. Place details of the offer in the next box. Special offers are searchable and this will help your advert page to get found.
- If you have a calendar showing availability please add the URL of this page. If you don't have one - Get one for free at www.dateblocker.com and type in the link which they give you. (Any problems - contact me)
- Next you submit and then upload your best photos. - If you have a webpage already: just reuse these photos. The quickest way to do this is to right-click on a picture and click "save image as". Save the pics onto your desktop and then follow the upload instructions - dead obvious!
