BBQ and picnic areas are in the grounds. Sun loungers and chairs are supplied by the pool. Toilet and shower facilities are located beside the pool for your convenience. Bicycles are available for use, mostly children's sizes. Nearby Attractions: Puyrouzeau is surrounded by numerous quiet country roads and tracks ideal for walking and cycling. For the more adventurous the Vendee Tourist Department have mapped a number of cycle routes all over Vendee. Fashionable La Rochelle with it's old port, shopping lanes and many cafes and restaurants is under an hour's drive, as is Les Sables d'Olonne, start and finish point for the Vendee Globe Yacht Race. Puy du Fou historic theme park is an easy 45mins drive. The Vendee region is populated with numerous historic towns and villages many with chateaux and churches to visit. Vouvant and the Mervent Forest are also within easy drives.
