Beaches Local beaches include Robin Hoods Bay, Boggle Hole within 15 minutes walking time, Whitby and Scarborough are 5 and 15 miles away respectively. Surfing Surfing takes place at Sandsend and Scarborough south beaches. Walking Robin Hoods Bay is one end of the coast to coast walk and the Opportunities for walking in the surrounding areas are endless from the footpaths.
