Situated on the Slovenian coast, on a hill overlooking the Adriatic, just 300 metres from the beach, 800 metres from the centre of Portoro˛/Portorose and about one mile from the historic city of Piran our house has three apartments to let.
Full Description: All three are on the ground floor, renovated in 2006, surrounded by the garden. Each apartment is fully equipped, central heated, air-conditioned, with Cable TV and Internet Access. Two apartments are suitable for 2 people, whilst the larger one sleeps up to five people. The area is a quiet residential area, perfect for relaxing.

The climate in Portoro˛ is gentle Mediterranean. Winters are generally quite mild with temperatures around 8 degrees whilst the summer is usually warm with temperature rarely exceeding 33 degrees. Due to the mild climate plenty of pine trees are growing in the area and combined with the sea mist in the air it makes Portoro˛ the perfect place especially for people with pulmonary and rheumatic problems. The first Spa in Portoro˛ was established at the end of the 19th century, aimed to rich people from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, who came to cure their rheumatic and lung disease. Today Portoro˛ has many Spas who offer medical treatment as well as beauty pampering treatments using sea water products. There are also plenty of indoor swimming pools with heated sea water, so swimming in the »sea« is possible in the winter too! Not convinced yet? Come and see for yourself! We are only two flight hours away. The two nearest airports are Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Ronchi (Italy) with most of the low fare airlines (Ryan Air, Easy Jet) flying there.
