Oradour-sur-Glane - quite a sombre place of remembrance. On the 10/6/44 the town was massacred by the Waffen SS. The town remains as it was then as a museum.

Le Parc du Reynou - safari park.

Parc D'Arbre En Arbre - fantastic tree-top assault courses for children and adults alike, on the edge of a stunning Lake.

Parc Bellevue - 1970's style adventure style amusement park with water slides, bouncy castles (for adults also), go-karting and a petting zoo.

Les Loups de Chabrières - The wolf park about 45min's away from us.

Aquarium du Limousin - An extraordinary "voyage" past the astonishing fish that patrol the deeps of Africa, or the tiniest, yet most vivacious, living jewels from the waters of Asia, to the piranhas from the heart of Amazonia.

Cité des Insectes- whole little zoo just for insects.

Le Splash d’Argentat - a large water park with slides, pools etc. They also offer kayak lessons and have good picnic facilities.

Futuroscope - an amazing park filled with exhibits celebrating science and technology.

Vulcania, Sounds strange, but celebrates volcanoes and offers exhibits like “Journey to the centre of the Earth!”
