At Brive you leave the motorway and the adventure starts.
Immediately you notice lovely villages and many castles hidden behind the trees against the hills.
20 km (13 miles) from Brive you enter the medival town of Terrasson; Located by the river Vezere.

Cublac is found near to Terrasson at a distance of about 2,5 km (1.5 mile).
In Terrasson you will find all the shops you need.
There are 4 main supermarkets (Champion, Atac , Intermarche, Mutant)
There are many restaurants; in the old and the new part.

At 20 km ( 13 miles) distance from Cublac you will find the village of Montignac, wellknown for the Caves of Lascaux; the
first caves where they found paintings of the prehistoric human being.

At 40 km ( 26 miles) distance from Cublac you will find the main city of Dordogne: Sarlat, a medieval city known for its atmosphere and architecture.
It has great food, small old streets, marketplaces and a great diversity of shops.
