Nearby Attractions: There are several beaches with approx. 15 minutes drive with all FREE parking. You have St Jeans De Monts 20 mins away, are favourite beach is at Fromentine which only the french seem to now about. There are also acouple of shops there for ice creams etc. and this is about 15 minutes away. You also have the framous island of Noirmoutier-en-l'lle which you can drive over le gois when the tide goes out. Shopping (the best bit) you have Challans which has a very large market and shopping area., 10 minutes drvie away. ST Jeans-De-Monts is a nice shopping centre and for a very large shopping place you have Nantes which is half hour away. For the children there is a farm which is open in July/August which our children loved as you get involved and they do horse shows. There is a butterfly farm on Noirmoutier. You have plenty of places for crazy golf. There is so much to do or if you prefer nothing except rest in the garden or go to one of the lovely beaches. Are forgot to tell you the house is nextdoor but one to a lovely bakery.
